NZDAA Juvenile & Youth Dance Syllabus

Levels: Associate · Licentiate · Fellowship

Requirements: Minimum age 18; relevant dance professional background and teaching experience; or a letter of recommendation from a recognised dance teaching institution

Assessment: Teaching theory plan review + in-person/online practical teaching demonstration (focus on children's pedagogy and movement safety)
NZDAA Modern Ballet & Pop Dance Syllabus

Requirements: Minimum age 18; strong technical demonstration ability and foundational choreography skills

Assessment: Technical combination breakdown demonstration + choreography theory defence + practical teaching evaluation
Associate Teacher Certification
400$Entry-level teacher certification. Includes exam & assessment ($280) + certificate & first-year registration ($120). Open to teachers with relevant dance background or teaching experience.Licentiate Teacher Certification
600$Intermediate teacher certification. Includes exam & assessment ($420) + certificate & first-year registration ($180). Requires demonstrated teaching competency and professional experience.Fellowship Teacher Certification
850$Advanced teacher certification. Includes exam & assessment ($600) + certificate & first-year registration ($250). Requires strong technical demonstration and choreography expertise.
